Plant Deputy Manager

Key Responsililities:
  • Oversee power project execution (site management! installation! construction! commissioning), adherence to contract specifications, cost, schedules, EHS, and code requirements.
  • Interface with Sourcing & Suppliers on delivery, receiving, delivered conditions and warranty items.
  • Conduct weekly Performance meetings with all contractors' Management to review a detailed EHS, budget, schedule, work Interface issues and formulate action plans.
  • Responsible for achieving the safest, highest quality and most economical construction of EPC project
  • Ensure operational and administrative compliance with all plant operating permits
  • Provide necessary technical knowledge of gas power plants to rapidly identify potential technical issues on site during the execution, to investigate and discuss those issues with the EPC Contractor and the technical partner.
  • Manage post EPC operations, maintenance and administrative activities.
  • Participates in Production's processes to plan, develop, and establish effective standards, processes, goals, and performance measures related to power generation work,
  • Communicate detailed reports periodically with upper management,
  • Provide Construction expertise on any construction or subcontractor related issues as required,
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Engineer with more than 10-15 years of project and site work experience directly related to the power generation industry; would have preferably worked as a contractor in a project management! site position.
  • Track-record in Gas Turbine Plant development - EPC stage and post EPC operations & maintenance
  • Good understanding of HSE systems and own track record
  • Demonstrated Management capability and knowledge of the industry's Human Resources practice,
  • Knowledge of methods, practices, equipment, and supplies used in facility maintenance and safety regulations including preventive maintenance.
  • Ability to maintain favorable public relations.
Accountant
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording. verifying. consolidating, and entering transactions
  • Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and anaiyzing account information
  • Maintain and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconCiling transactions; resolving discrepancies
  • Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts; preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries
  • Summarize financial status by collecting mformanen, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements
  • Complete internal audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts; providing information for auditors
  • Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements
  • Secures financial information by completing database backups
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • BSc or HND in Accounting with minimum of 5 years practical experience in accounting
  • Qualified chartered Accountant (ICAN, CPA, ACA, ACCA ere) With practical knowledge of accounting sottware such as PEACHTREE, SAGE or QUICKBOOKS plus strong Excel skills
  • Experienced in planning and budgeting
  • Proven track record of setting up accounting systems and excellent reporting skill

The Nigerian Air Force invites application from suitable qualified candidates for Nigerian Air Force Airmen/ Airwomen recruitment exercise (BMTC 2014) for SSCE/ NECO/ NCE/ND applicants

Qualifications
The minimum qualifications for interested applicants are SSCE/NECO/GCE/NCE/ND Applicants applying as non-tradesmen and women must be between 17 and 22 years of age by 31 December 2014 and must possess SSCE/NECO/GCE.
Applicants applying as tradesmen and women must be between 17 and 24 years of age by 31 December 2014 and must possess NCE/ND or any relevant trade certificates from reputable and approved government institutions/organisations.
Those who will be older than 22 and 24 years for non-tradesmen and tradesmen respectively by 31 December 2014 need not apply.
Applicants with University diplomas are not qualified to apply as tradesmen and women.
Male applicants must not be less than 1.68 metres tall while female applicants must not be less than 1.65 metres tall.
